Horsey Mere & Mill circular walk

We parked on the National Trust car park at Horsey Mill (£3 all day!)

The walk around the Mere is lovey with wide foot paths

We were lucky enough to see a number of rare Swallowtail butterflies!

Stunning scenery

Stopped for a very enjoyable coffee at Poppylands!

We extend our walk to take in the coastline via Horsey Gap

Stopped off at the Nelsons Head pub for lunch - the Woodfords Wherry was amazing!

And finally back to Horsey Mill

The walk took about 3 hours (with 2 stops) to complete and was it was lovely to be able to take in the scenery of the mere and marshes as well as the Norfolk coastline, thoroughly recommended!!
