Beccles to Geldeston circular walk
We did one of our favorite walks today. Parked at Beccles Quay and walked from the Bridge along the river bank to Geldeston and back across the marshes - 8 miles/3 hours.
The Waveney Hotel from the opposite river bank
Beccles Lido from across the river - good to see so many people using it
Not a breath of wind!
The Wherry Inn Geldeston
Geldeston Locks Pub - 11.30 so manged a quick half each!

Views from the top of Pakefield Church Tower
I was lucky enough to be able to go up to the top of the tower at Pakefield Church last Saturday. I didn't expect to abseil back down! It was a lovely afternoon and managed to get some great photos.

The Jolly Sailors re-opens!
The Jolly Sailors on Pakefield cliff re-opened 4 weeks ago after extensive re-refurbishment. Lynsay and I have been 3 or 4 times since it re-opened we thoroughly recommend a visit, great views, beer and food!
